GREENSBURG, KANSAS

ITINERARY MAY 1-3, 2009

FRIDAY

2 - 4 p.m. Tour City Hall (second block of South Main Street)

9 a.m.-5 p.m. Big Well Gift Shop Open

2-6 p.m. 5.4.7 Arts Center open. In the Galllery: GHS Student's Artwork, come for a tour and to see the 'green' features.

At Dusk: 5.4.7 Arts Center movie on the lawn "Fantasia"

SATURDAY

8:00 a.m. Golf Tournament (Cannonball Golf Course, east side of town)

9 – 3 p.m. BTI Greensburg Grand Opening (east side of town on Highway 54)

                 9 Coffee & Cookies

                10 Prayer & Ribbon Cutting

                11-1 Lunch (come and go)

                1 - 2 John Deere Day Film & Video on Dealership Rebuild

                2 - 3 Musical Entertainment (Barry Ward)

11:00 a.m. Kansas Pilots Association Fly-in (airfield, east side of town)

1:00 p.m. Dedication of Memorial Bench from the Gold Wing Road Riders Association,

KS Chapter P (at the GreenTown Visitors’ Center, behind the Kwik Shop)

6:30 p.m. Greensburg GreenTown Supper & First Annual Green Initiative Awards

(location dependent upon weather – either Davis Park or the School Gym)

9 a.m.-6 p.m. Big Well Gift Shop Open

11 a.m. -4 p.m. 5.4.7 Arts Center open. In the Galllery: GHS Student's Artwork, come for a tour and to see the 'green' features.

SUNDAY

8:00 a.m. Antiques Auction (Brown Auction – east side of town on Highway 54)

10:45 a.m. First Baptist Church Dedication Service (Highway 54 & Sycamore)

11:00 a.m. Car Show (South Bay St.)

1 – 3 p.m. First Baptist Church Open House (Highway 54 & Sycamore)

1-6 p.m. Big Well Gift Shop Open

ALL WEEKEND

9 – 5 p.m. Green Tours (meet at GreenTown’s Silo Eco-Home, 402 South Sycamore)
